From SLR Lounge:

"Shadows are quite an interesting thing. Made out of nothing but a simple obstruction and the absence of light, something that would normally be lifeless comes to life with every move we make. We have seen finger shadows dancing on a solitary wall, to artistic shadows being used on models in publications such as Vogue. Shadows live and follow us everywhere.

"Internationally acclaimed British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster, have recognized another way in which shadows are brought to life. Their project features shadows that are brought together by random piles of trash, and other various inanimate objects, which are placed in a way to depict human beings."

The Word of the Day comes from Dictionary.com. Use the word in your own haiku and add to the comments.

Improve your vocabulary and your haiku skills at the same time! If you don't know the definition, it's below, but see if you can figure it out from the haiku and/or image.

Poet and designer, David Alan Foster has been experimenting with haiku since the '70s. He has inspired (or possibly offended) many with said experiments.
