little Bobby ran
and began to bombinate
like the Bumblebee

As I'm writing this particular haiku, I'm thinking of Bobby running around making buzzing noises like a bumblebee, and I play the word to "bomblebee" beecause it sounds like bombinate... logical. Right? And I'm picturing an insect type of bumblebee. What else? 

Well, I do an image search on "bumblebee" — actually started with "bomblebee" and I get Bomble Bee Beer, an "American pale lager style beer brewed in (of course) Sweden... what? — back to the search on "bumblebee" now... and I get Bumblebee the Transformer! 

I'm SO confused. 

But then I see this kid in a Bumblebee costume... THAT'S Bobby! 
​Perfect. 
So, I changed "a bomblebee" to "the Bumblebee." Because that's Bobby.


DEFINITION of this 3-syllable verb:
  1. To buzz; to hum; to drone.
  2. to make a humming or buzzing noise.
