Gene's a teen of means
you glean his mien's legatine
here seen with the queen
Picture
No, none of the pages are named "Gene," for the record. The four boys in attendance were Charles, Arthur, Hugo and Viscount Aithrie (Charles Adrian Bristow Hope), who fainted during the event.

I found this photo funny because the Queen was apparently giving a speech about austerity measures; the irony not lost on the Huffington Post UK. The British love their Queen... and pay the price.

The depth of information on the Internet is astounding.

DEFINITION of this 1-syllable noun:
  1. air, bearing, or demeanor, as showing character, feeling, etc.: a man of noble mien.

The Word of the Day comes from Dictionary.com. Use the word in your own haiku and add to the comments.

Improve your vocabulary and your haiku skills at the same time! If you don't know the definition, it's below, but see if you can figure it out from the haiku and/or image.

Poet and designer, David Alan Foster has been experimenting with haiku since the '70s. He has inspired (or possibly offended) many with said experiments.
