hierogram upset
thirteenth sign Ophiuchus
astrillogical?
Picture
There's always someone trying to upset the apple cart. A new astrological sign after... what, 2000 years? I would go from Capricorn to Sagittarius? Identity crisis!

Reminds of the first "practice" in The Art of Possibility (reading it for the third time), which is "It's All Invented." There are lots of blogs and discussions about the book and its ideas, and as far as I can tell all ravingly positive. Just read or [better yet] listen to the book.

DEFINITION of this 3-syllable noun:
  1. a sacred symbol, as an emblem, pictograph, or the like.

The Word of the Day comes from Dictionary.com. Use the word in your own haiku and add to the comments.

Improve your vocabulary and your haiku skills at the same time! If you don't know the definition, it's below, but see if you can figure it out from the haiku and/or image.

Poet and designer, David Alan Foster has been experimenting with haiku since the '70s. He has inspired (or possibly offended) many with said experiments.
